Con la presente obra, su autor intenta solamente paliar la marginación, casi total de las lenguas clásicas de los plantes de estudio del actual Bachillerato, con la consiguiente ignorancia del léxico científico, especialmente en el cmapo de la Medicina. No pretende, en absoluto, practicar un intrusismo injustificado en esta ciencia, sino poner a su servicio algunos datos que la filología clásica puede aportar para el mejor conocimiento de la terminología médica.
