Teacher's guide -- Student workbook
Resumen: This is a 26 hour course of twelve, 2 hour classes plus a final exam. It is generally sold as a package of 2 books: The Teacher's Guide and the Student Workbook. The course is designed for classroom work. Each exercise is suitable to be read aloud or silently and is followed by a number of comprehension and acquisition tasks. These may include Mix and Match for vocabulary, short answers, long answers, or short story writing. Some exercises ask students to present orally. Students will have the opportunity to read, write, speak and listen specifically within the context of health and health care. The intent is to help individuals assimilate into their work in the field of health care, in an English-speaking country. The course will also be useful to those students in the health professions who wish to work in an English-speaking country upon graduation. (These latter students will also find the course, English for Nurses and Medical Personnel© helpful. It is on-line at www.e4on.ca, English for Overseas Nurses.) · The Teacher's Guide includes supplements to the lessons, quizzes, answer keys, and the final exam and key. Answers to each and every exercise are included as well as marking grids for assignments. Homework assignments, presentations, and interactive classroom activities will assist in the acquisition of the spoken and written word. · The Student Workbook has been developed in a user-friendly manner. Students may write in the workbooks.To purchase the course, a package is prepared for the client which includes: (1)Teacher's Guide and (1) student workbook. Client's may purchase additional student workbooks as applicable. Student workbooks CANNOT be purchased without evidence that a Teacher's Guide has first been purchased.
